B-Main Win Sparks 17-to-13 Charge to Open the 2026 Season
Night one of the 2026 season is in the books. It took a few laps to shake off the rust, but the #21B found its rhythm as the night went on against a stacked 39-car field.
A tough heat race left Beau just outside the transfer spot, sending the team to the B-Main. From there, he worked his way to the front, running the top through slick, tricky conditions to win the B-Main and lock in a transfer to the A-Main.
Starting 17th in the feature, Beau methodically picked his way forward all race long, bringing the #21B home 13th to open the season.
Fifth-Place Heat Run Sets Up a 13th-to-9th Drive at Paragon
With only a handful of trips to Paragon Speedway under his belt, there's still plenty to learn about the track, but the #21B put together a solid night regardless. Beau qualified 5th and carried that speed into the heat race, crossing the line 5th to lock in a solid starting spot for the feature.
Lined up 13th to start the A-Main, Beau worked forward all race long, bringing the #21B home in 9th at the checkers.
Fastest Lap of the Night Headlines First Trip to Bloomington
Beau's first-ever trip to Bloomington Speedway got off to a strong start. He went out in qualifying and set the fastest lap of the night, quickest out of the entire 33-car field.
He carried that speed into his heat race, finishing 3rd to line up 11th for the A-Main. From there, the #21B slowly slid backward over the course of the feature, crossing the line 15th.
Still, for a first trip to a new track, it was a solid learning night, and by Beau's own account, it wasn't too bad.
Strong-Running Car Ends in Heartbreak with a Part Failure
Qualifying 5th quick put Beau 5th to start his heat race, where a 4th-place run lined him up 10th for the A-Main.
The #21B wasted no time making moves, working forward to 6th within just a few laps. The car was clearly good and picking up spots in a hurry, until a part failure brought the night to an early end with a DNF.
A tough way for a strong-running car to go out, but the speed was undeniably there.
Redraw to 3rd Sets Up Hard-Fought 6th Against a Loaded Field
Beau was quickest in his qualifying group to open the night at Lincoln Park, carrying that speed into a 4th-place start in his heat race, where he raced his way up to 2nd.
A redraw set him 3rd for the A-Main, and Beau raced hard all night against one of the toughest fields of the season, crossing the line 6th.
A great result and a strong sign, right in the mix with some of the best cars in the field.
Running with the Best: USAC Debut at Butler Ends in 19th
A USAC national show at a brand-new track meant Beau knew this one would be tough going in. Hot laps hinted at decent speed, with the #21B running 16th overall against a stacked national-level field.
Single-car qualifying continued the trend, with Beau turning the 16th-quickest lap of the field. He carried that speed into the heat race, running 6th, but missed the transfer to the A-Main by a single spot, sending the team to the B-Main.
Starting 3rd in the B-Main, Beau held that spot to the finish, locking in a transfer to the A-Main. From there, he crossed the line 19th against one of the toughest fields the #21B has faced all season.
A tough night on paper, but a great one for learning, running right alongside some of the best in the country.
Late Restart Wreck Costs a Solid Run at Kokomo
Beau was 2nd quick in his group to open the night at Kokomo, locking in a 2nd-place start for his heat race. He backed it up with a 2nd-place run, transferring straight into the A-Main.
Starting 6th in the feature, Beau ran around that spot for the majority of the race, working to find more speed. A caution on lap 21 set up a restart that turned costly—two cars racing just ahead of him got together with nowhere for him to go, sending the #21B to the back of the field with only a handful of laps remaining.
Beau salvaged what he could, crossing the line 17th after getting caught up in a wreck that wasn't his doing.
B-Main Rescue Turns 25th in Qualifying into an 11th-Place Finish
A rough qualifying effort left Beau 25th quick at Bloomington, and with a unique format locking the top 10 straight into the A-Main, that sent the #21B to the B-Main.
Starting 8th, Beau raced his way forward to 5th, transferring into the feature. Lined up 19th for the A-Main, he continued the charge, working all the way up to 11th at the finish.
A poor qualifying night salvaged by a strong B-Main and an even stronger drive through the field in the A-Main.
Transfers Straight Through Heat, Runs 17th Against a 71-Car USAC Field
A USAC national show brought one of the biggest fields of the year to Lincoln Park—71 cars strong. Beau started his heat race on the pole and raced to a 3rd-place finish, more than enough to transfer straight into the 25-car A-Main.
Starting 20th in the feature, Beau worked forward to finish 17th, a solid result against one of the toughest and deepest fields the #21B has faced all season.
Unlucky Heat Race Sends #21B to a Solid B-Main Run at Kokomo
Back-to-back USAC nights continued at Kokomo, where a 55-car field showed up. This one didn't go as smoothly as the night before, a stacked heat race dropped Beau from a 2nd-place start to 7th at the line, missing the direct transfer and sending the #21B to the B-Main.
Starting 12th in the B-Main, Beau showed good speed all race long, working forward to finish 10th. Note: finished 10th in the B-Main, not the A-Main — not counted toward season stats.
First Trip to Terre Haute Cut Short by Shock Tower Failure
Beau's first-ever visit to Terre Haute Action Track brought a 33-car USAC field and one of his best qualifying efforts of the season, timing in 11th quick. He carried that into his heat race, starting 4th, but slipped to 7th at the line and missed the direct transfer.
That sent the #21B to the B-Main, where Beau lined up 2nd—a great spot to work with. Unfortunately, a broken shock tower derailed the run, and he slipped back to finish 8th, just outside the transfer spots.
A tough way to end a promising first trip to a new track, but the early speed was a good sign. Note: finished 8th in the B-Main, not the A-Main — not counted toward season stats.
Redraw to 6th Turns Into a 5th-Place Run on a Rough Montpelier Track
Beau raced to a 2nd-place finish in his heat race at a 40-car Montpelier show, then drew the 6th starting spot for the A-Main. On a track that got rough as the night wore on, he raced his way forward to finish 5th at the checkers, one of his best runs of the season.
